
President
Nick Riesterer is a first year grad student studying Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering. As President, Nick organizes professional events for students and primarily assists with the planning of the Chicago trip. Last year, Nick was a Co-Vice President and planned the 2019 CEE Career. Outside of ASCE, Nick enjoys running in the summer and building snowmen in the winter.

Co-Vice President
Alfonso Garcia is a senior studying Civil and Environmental Engineering. As Co-Vice President, Alfonso plans and manages the annual Civil and Environmental Engineering Career Fair, sponsored by the College of Engineering. He started off his junior year as Treasurer, where he was responsible for raising funds for social events and handling the clubs finances. Outside of ASCE, Alfonso enjoys many outdoor activities, such as running, hiking, and travelling.

Treasurer
Jenna Sherwin is a sophomore studying Civil Engineering. As Treasurer, Jenna is responsible for raising funds for social events and handling the club’s finances. Outside of ASCE, Jenna is an officer for SWE, a member of Bluelab Thailand, and a member of Professor Drew Gronewold’s research group. She also enjoys cooking and hanging out with her roommates.
Co-Social Chair
Cecile Baeza is a first year Master’s student studying Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering. As Social Chair, she organizes social events such as (usually) intramural sports and the cider mill trip. This is Cecile’s second year as Social Chair for ASCE, and her fourth year on the board. She enjoys running, doing puzzles and knitting.

Social Media Chair
Weronika Myslak is a senior studying Civil Engineering with the International Minor for Engineers and the Program in Sustainable Engineering. This is Weronika’s first year on the board, where she serves as Social Media Chair to share events and updates through the ASCE’s online platforms. Outside of ASCE, she enjoys tea, puzzles, and hiking.

Communications Chair
Madison Carlson is a senior studying Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering. As Communications Chair, Madison is responsible for coordinating Speaker Series and the ASCE email. Outside of ASCE, Madison is on the Michigan Concrete Canoe team, where she is also the secretary. Madison also enjoys going to the Big House for game days and is a full blown Maxxinista.
